Aum Lotus enters the world

Welcome to our first Aum Lotus Blog entry!

After exactly one year since first crossing paths in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Delhi in 2015, Violante and Andrew are back in India together with the vision and goal of bringing Aum Lotus and it’s various multi-disciplinary ventures to fruition. After many months of dreaming, brainstorming, and workshopping our ideas of the best way to merge our collective experience, knowledge, and passions into one holistic organisation, we are ready to share our project with the world.

We’ve named our venture Aum Lotus.

Aum or OM is the primordial sound; the initial vibration that created everything in this Universe. It is Bramha, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Creator, The Preserver, and The Destroyer.

The Lotus is the flower that represents purity and beauty, the spiritual awakening that we all will come to relate to at some point in our journey in this life.

When we join these two universal symbols together we discover our Aum Lotus, representing our two worlds coming together.

When two things come together and truly synthesise, they create something altogether new; a form that is more than the sum of its parts. We believe in cultivating individual aspiration in order to spark our unique creative powers. As we practice this new personal and integral yoga, we unlock the beauty of our being and share the most of what we have to offer the world. When we share our true selves, and spread this love with the world, we automatically attract others, alike and different, and begin to resonate with each other to create friendships, relationships, partnerships, communities, and tribes. This is where we want to share Aum Lotus to the world, with the aim to help foster this vision and collectively grow our tribe.

Within Aum Lotus, we have projects that focus on different, yet sometimes overlapping areas, to create the holistic practices that we would like to share with the world.

Nad Yoga

Nad Yoga brings together the worlds of Yoga and Music. Enhancing our sensitivity of sound and vibration, and learning about the form and structure of music helps us to discover the true vibrational nature of ourselves and the structures that make up our physical and non-physical bodies. We can enhance our yoga practice with sound and vibration and we can enhance our ability to appreciate and understand music by perfecting and feeling into our bodies. Nad Yoga has developed various different approaches to this concept, including Integral Sonic Yoga, and offers workshops, classes, lessons, as well as various therapeutic methods, including sound baths and music and vibrational therapies.

Integral Art

The Integral Art Method is a tool that combines the practice of Yoga with the experience of Art in order to discover the evolutionary story of the human being through the personal experience and understanding of the body and self. The main aim of Integral Art is to find a creative expression, starting by listening deeply to ourselves and our bodies. By becoming more aware of our yoga practice – examining our thoughts, our movements, our breath – we become at the same time more receptive to other areas of our being and we can increase our creative capacity. Integral Art has developed various different concepts, that can be learnt, but most importantly, experienced, in workshops that are available to individuals, groups, schools, companies, and communities.

Aum Lotus has a few unturned petals; projects that are currently under development and are not yet ready to be shared with the world. But for those reading this entry, we will give you a sneak peak for what to look forward to.

Aum Lotus Lifestyle will be a line of conscious clothing, apparel, jewellry, and accessories to bring more colour, joy, and vibrancy into you daily life. Offering handmade clothing, crystal malas, and other item featuring gemstones and other natural artifacts, Aum Lotus Lifestyle will surely capture your attention and the people around you, and open up a gateway to connect the communities in your world.

So, our flower has bloomed for the first time, but there is more and more that needs to be done. We are working with consciousness and patience to bring each of our beautiful flowers to you and the world, so please stay connected and check back with us regularly.
